Internet Sales Lister - eCommerce

HiTECH Assets is looking for an Internet Sales Lister in our eCommerce Department.

Do you have a passion for computers, electronics and gadgets? Do you have 2+ years of prior experience in a Sales, Customer Service or Administrative role? Are you interested in working in a fast paced, fun environment? If so, please read on! The position is full-time, with benefits and pays between $21,320 to $27,560 annually which is $10.25 to $13.25 per hour. Working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F.

A successful Internet Sales Lister will be expected to accomplish the following tasks by:

  • Providing outstanding Customer Service by phone, electronic means and face-to-face in a professional, courteous and respectful manner
  • Researching products in the market using Computer/Internet savvy to ascertain current retail selling prices and obtain detailed product information used for creating high-quality, salable listings
  • Using the information gathered to add detailed descriptions, pictures and any other relevant information found during research that will help maximize a product’s selling value to an online or offline template
  • Transferring the template data to major marketplace platforms including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, NewEgg and our eCommerce store
  • Reviewing completed listings and ensuring all the information is accurately represented
  • Assisting in the order fulfillment process by printing sales orders, packing slips and helping to pick and stage products weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Working efficiently to meet project deadlines within the set time-frame
  • Using software applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook and NetSuite to perform daily task
  • Engaging conflicts with quick action and positive resolutions
  • Completing additional tasks when asked as needed
  • Suggesting process improvements that increase efficiency to foster sales growth for the team

Preferred Job Qualifications/Experience

  • 2+ years of prior experience in a Sales, Customer Service or Administrative role
  • Prior experience working in an Electronics-oriented sales environment is preferred
  • Prior experience creating online content or Internet selling experience within a major marketplace or web platform such as Amazon, eBay, NewEgg, Big Commerce or Yahoo!/Aabaco is highly-valued.

Warehouse Manager

HiTECH Assets is actively seeking a driven, results oriented person for the position of Warehouse Manager at our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will have: least four (4) years of direct, hands-on, warehouse production, site security and repair management experience; a demonstrated track record of leadership which includes the ability to collaborate and foster working relationships with multiple departments. Experience in/with community relations and direct department management experience is a plus.

The responsibilities above will be achieved as a result of successfully:

  • Managing a team of warehouse employees responsible for delivering results
  • Managing and handling all production, repair, warehousing and distribution functions at the Warehouse
  • Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
  • Overseeing the process of transfer orders, for shipments, to other warehouses
  • Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
  • Cultivating the physical condition of a new warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts with space requirements
  • Managing contractors to maintain facility and equipment
  • Recruiting, hiring and training location site employees
  • Maintaining staff job results by coaching, counseling, developing and disciplining employees while planning, monitoring and appraising job performance.
  • Interacting with customers to ensure service level and satisfaction remains high
  • Managing local logistics (drivers and vehicles)
  • Producing regular reports
  • Motivating, organizing, scheduling and encouraging teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A general working knowledge of PC hardware functionality and nomenclature is required
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office is required, with a focus on Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with advanced level proficiency in English. Other language proficiency, particularly Spanish, is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, self-starter environment, with little direct supervision
  • Ability to innovate and offer fresh approaches and solutions
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks based on customer and company requirements

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of job/ industry related management experience is required

Material Handler

Do you have one year of documented experience in Shipping or Receiving where you accurately prepared, verified and recorded incoming and outgoing shipment activities? Great! We have a job for you. Be sure to complete the interview questions.

Responsibilities

  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting and recordkeeping purposes
  • Determine shipping methods for materials based on invoices and knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates
  • Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck or pallet jack
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools and postage meter
  • Confers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages and nonconformance to specifications
  • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
  • Email responsible parties when shipments are ready to be picked up
  • Keep workspace clean to maintain a professional office appearance
  • Help control inventory flow by being organized and accurate in all tasks
  • Answer customer emails/questions in a professional, courteous and respectful manner
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for team members and company property
  • Communicate effectively with team members/supervisors to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Maintain proper dress code and personal hygiene as listed in Company Guidelines
  • Other projects as assigned

Preferred job qualifications
1 year of previous experience with shipping, logistics or other related fields
